Wondering if archery is the sport for you?

Beginners courses

Never done archery before? Only ever done a little?  Want to learn in a friendly way?

Our beginners courses run over two weekends. One session is in a hall (Saturday or Sunday 9.30 – 2) and the next at our club (Saturday 10-1) with a chance to shoot alongside club members and see different types of bows. Our friendly team of coaches will ensure you are safe and confident using your bow whilst shooting paper plates, balloons and targets!

There is a chance to undertake an award at the end of the course – with a badge to add to your quiver!

Juniors will need a parent to attend the course – why not join in too?

Have a go sessions

Netherhall Archers offers “have a go” sessions from time to time at the club but we also consider running this for private groups subject to coaches availability. We provide the beginners bows and everything else required. The aim of the sessions is to get everyone to try archery in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. All abilities are welcome.
