About our club
Netherhall Archers
From our humble beginnings as a club with eight founding members who shot only once a week outdoors, we have grown into a vibrant club with more than 40 members.
The legacy of our founding members, David and Anne English, who invested their own funds to create the club, continues today in our club name and badge. The club name reflects the area in Cambridge that the club started and continue to calls home, with the club badge a design based on the arrowhead that David used to wear on a chain around his neck.
We are a very friendly and fun club based in the Netherhall area of Cambridge who welcome people of all ages and abilities to share our love of archery. If you are looking to try archery for the first time, our qualified coaches run regular beginners courses to get you started. We are lucky enough to have club coaches who support our members to improve their skills.
Our club members shoot a variety of bow styles including recurve, barebow, compound and traditional bows and we have a lending library for both new and experienced archers.
